Monday

The first day of camp starts with a warm welcome at our sign-in table, where our senior staff will quickly review medical documents before sending you over to your group’s table to meet your counsellors and new friends. From there, it’s non-stop fun, think epic water games, hands-on science experiments, camp songs you’ll be humming all week, and a whole lot more! Our Explorers also get to choose their special skill for the week: canoeing, archery, survival skills, or creation station. Once you pick your skill, the adventure begins!

Tuesday

We’ll start the day with our usual sign-in at group tables, but the real excitement begins after lunch. We pack up and head to Kiwanis Outdoor Pool (1000 Kiwanis Park Drive, Kitchener) for an afternoon of swimming, splashing, and fun in the sun. We leave Laurel Creek around 12:30 PM and return by about 3:30 PM - plenty of time to soak up every last splash!

Wednesday

On Wednesday, it’s pizza day! From Monday until Wednesday morning, you can give your counsellors your pizza money and get ready for a delicious mid-week treat. Along with pizza, we’ll pack the day with water games, outdoor adventures, and all your favourite Camp K rotations. By the end of the day, you’ll be full of laughs, stories, and maybe a few pizza crumbs!

Thursday

One of the most exciting days of the week - trip day! Whether we’re heading to somewhere wild, wonderful, or totally new, our Thursday adventures are always unforgettable. Check out the Calendar and Pricing page for this week’s destination, and get ready for a day packed with fun, friends, and memories.

Friday

We end the week with a bang! Friday morning is filled with your favourite Camp K rotations, but the real highlight is Kangaroo Kourt - our legendary mock trial where campers get to “charge” their counsellors with hilarious camp “crimes.” The “guilty” counsellors face funny and silly punishments, much to everyone’s delight. We wrap up the day with our final campfire, singing our favourite songs and celebrating all the memories we’ve made together. It’s the perfect ending to an incredible week at Camp K!
