Camp 5K Family Fun Day is Camp K’s annual community fundraiser, bringing together campers, families, friends, and local supporters for an exciting day outdoors at Laurel Creek Conservation Area. This family friendly event is designed for all ages and abilities, offering both a 1 km accessible route and a 5 km fun run and walk through the beautiful trails and pathways of Laurel Creek.

More than just a run, Camp 5K is a celebration of community, movement, and the spirit of Camp K. Participants can enjoy a full afternoon of activities including face painting, lawn games, a campfire, and so much more. Additional exciting activities, vendors, and event details will be announced leading up to the event on our Instagram and Facebook @campkstandrews. Whether you are running, walking, cheering from the sidelines, or simply joining us for the atmosphere, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

As a not for profit organization, every Camp 5K ticket purchased has a direct and meaningful impact on the Camp K experience. These funds do not simply support an event. They help create the unforgettable summer memories our campers look forward to each year. Ticket sales help cover transportation costs for buses, admission for exciting field trips, swimming days, camp supplies, special programming, and the resources needed to keep camp engaging, safe, and accessible for all children.

Funds also help us strengthen our Inclusion Program, allowing more campers to receive the support they need to fully participate and thrive at camp. For many families, this support makes the difference between being able to attend camp or missing out entirely.

Because Camp K is not for profit, every dollar raised is reinvested directly back into our programs and campers. Your ticket purchase helps us continue offering high quality outdoor experiences, meaningful friendships, confidence building opportunities, and a summer filled with joy, adventure, and belonging.

Join Us for Our Annual BBQ – Good Food, Great Company, and a Wonderful Cause!

We’re excited to invite you to our Annual BBQ, taking place at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Kitchener on June 24th from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. This cherished event brings together friends, families, and supporters for an evening of community, celebration, and generosity.

Come and enjoy a classic BBQ meal featuring hot dogs, hamburgers, sausages, fresh Caesar salad, and a sweet finish with make-your-own sundaes for dessert. Whether you’re reconnecting with familiar faces or joining us for the first time, you’ll feel right at home.

This BBQ is more than just a meal, it’s a time for us to celebrate and give back to those who have supported Camp K over the years. Your presence helps us honor the incredible community that continues to lift Camp K up and makes everything we do possible.

Free will donations are graciously accepted and deeply appreciated. Every dollar raised will go directly toward supporting Camp K’s exceptional summer programming, exciting field trips, and essential supplies, ensuring a memorable and enriching experience for every camper.
