About Us

Camp Kummoniwannago is pronounced Come-On-I-Wannago. We are a non-denominational, non- profit day camp offered by St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Kitchener: www.standrewskw.com

The camp hosts three programs, Critters (ages 5-9), Explorers (ages 10-13) and the Leadership Development Program, (ages 14-15), at Laurel Creek Conservation Area in Waterloo. Weekly programs are theme-based, incorporating the beautiful outdoor setting, the skills and leadership of a qualified staff and the imagination of the children. Each week includes a special activity, whether it is a special guest, or a field trip and a weekly trip to Kiwanis Park for swimming.

Located near the corner of Westmount Rd. N. and Northfield Dr. in Waterloo, Laurel Creek maintains a natural environment in the heart of the city. The Critter and Dam shelters of Laurel Creek provide the gathering place for a child’s summer day. Monday morning registration for all ages happens at the Critter Shelter. Staff will meet you along the drive to show you the way! Follow our directions to Laurel Creek and let your child's Camp Kummoniwannago experience begin.
