Critter Camp

8:30-9:00- regular drop off time
9:00-9:45- Morning Circle & attendance
9:45-10:30- Rotation #1
10:30-10:45- Snack Time!
10:45-11:30- Rotation #2
11:30-12:10- Rotation #3
12:10-1:15- Lunch Time!
1:15-2:15- Water Games
2:15-2:30- Snack Time!
2:30-3:00- Rotation #4
3:00-3:30- Rotation #5
3:30-4:00- Afternoon Circle
4:00-4:30- Counsellor time

4:30-5:00- regular pick up time

Activities include active games, science, crafts, nature, campfire, and even paddle boating. Special weekly events include a special guest or field trip, a swimming trip to Kiwanis Park on Tuesday afternoon, and a trip on Laurel Creek in the Paddle Boat.

Explorer Camp

8:30 -9:00 am - Drop off at Dam Shelter
9:00 – 9:40 – Morning Initiatives
9:45 – 10:15 – Skills/ Rotations
10:15 – 10:30 – Snack Time!
10:30 – 11:30 – Skills/ Rotations
11:30 – 12:00 – Group Time Lead by Counsellor
12:00 – 1:00 – Lunch Time!
1:00 – 1:50 – Water Games
1:50 – 2:05 – Change an d Snack
2:10 – 3:45 – All Camp Game
3:45 – 4:30 – Discovery
4:30 – 5:00 pm – Home Time, Activities lead by Counsellor

Skills includes archery, canoeing, outdoor awareness, nature study, arts, science, and Camping Techniques. The camper will get to choose their activity daily. Each week includes a special guest or field trip, and a trip on Tuesday to Kiwanis Park for swimming.

Typical Day?

Although we may say "typical", a day at Camp K is anything but! We always have surprise guests and costumed surprises; special events, like concerts and drama; as well as, unexpected programs, games, challenges and adventures! Make sure to ask your camper what fun things they've done today at Camp K!
